Pastor George Tannous, PhD of ChurchForChains.com states that Israel Will Not Fall: God’s Prophetic Plan Still Stands
Brothers and sisters, when we look at the headlines and hear of wars and rumors of wars—when we see tensions rising between Israel and Iran—it is easy for fear to creep in. It is easy to wonder: Will Israel survive? Will this be the end? But we must not look at the world through fear—we must look at it through the lens of God’s Word.
And the Word of God makes something very clear: Israel will not fall—not yet.
Why? Because God is not finished.
The Bible tells us that there are prophecies still waiting to be fulfilled. These are not vague ideas or symbolic dreams—these are specific, unfolding events that must take place exactly as God declared. And one of the most important of these is the rebuilding of the Third Temple in Jerusalem.
Right now, that temple does not stand. But Scripture tells us it must stand.
Why? Because the Bible speaks of a moment known as the Abomination of Desolation—a moment so serious that Jesus Himself warned about it. He pointed back to the prophet Daniel and said there would come a time when a man—the one we know as the Antichrist—will stand in the holy place, in the temple of God, and exalt himself as God.
Think about that.
If there is no temple, how can the Antichrist stand in it?
If that moment has not yet happened, how can the story be over?
It cannot.
That means history is still moving forward according to God’s divine timeline. It means the clock has not run out on Israel. It means that no matter how intense the conflict becomes, no matter how loud the threats grow, God’s prophetic plan will not be interrupted by human warfare.
Now hear this clearly: this does not mean there will be no suffering. Scripture never promises that. In fact, it tells us the opposite—that there will be tribulation, conflict, and shaking in the nations. But destruction is not the same as defeat.
Israel may be pressed, but it will not be erased.
Israel may be surrounded, but it will not be abandoned.
Because God has tied His name, His promises, and His prophetic plan to that land and to that people.
The nations may rage. Leaders may threaten. Weapons may be prepared. But above it all stands the unchanging truth of Scripture: what God has spoken will come to pass.
And until the Third Temple is rebuilt…
Until the Antichrist reveals himself…
Until the Abomination of Desolation takes place…
The story is not finished.
So do not be shaken by what you see. Do not let fear write the narrative. Instead, stand firm in the Word of God.
Because the same God who declared the end from the beginning is still in control today.
And Israel—according to His plan—will not fall.
